If you've been following along, I've been posting a couple of pages from the two albums I am working on with A Muse Studio products. A few days ago, I shared the first look at my Halloween Album, and last month I introduced my Holiday Album. Today, I wanted to share another spread in that book.
These pages are pretty simple and straightforward, but I tried to use a few subtle accents in a way to make the images pop.
- I love the look of using white embossing powder over Onyx cardstock- I love the "chalkboard" look it gives, especially with the word art image above. It's fairly simple, but makes for a great bold statement.
- A Muse Studio makes these teeny tiny little pearl enamel dots that are so fun to add as an embellishment. I think they look great as an accent to the lights on my Christmas Tree photo.
- I'm new to using Wafer dies- and especially love them for felt, fabric or glitter paper- items that you can't traditionally cut with a machine like the Silhouette or a paper punch. For the chevron"Joy" tag, I used wafer dies to cut out the letters and the leaves, and added flocking to the letters to give them texture. I also used a wafer die to cut out the glitter reindeer.
You can find all the products I used for this project at A Muse Studio, including the album and insert pages, papers, inks, dies and more!
